A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

A short exploration game about childhood memories. The game is set in Eastern Europe. As you search for missing photographs you get to relive a bit of Anna's childhood days and playful imagination.

There are three mini games, each connecting to these memories. Can you try to put the pieces together? Or maybe you can just enjoy the scenery... It's up to you. There's a bit of the story hidden everywhere.

Use arrow keys (WASD) and Z, X to play.

This game was created as a component to my masters' thesis. There is a brief text included in the downloads for those who are curious to know more.
Be sure to check out the soundtrack too!

Reading the PDF with more information on the game's background was not only a mesmerising experience but also an intriguing look into the mind of the creator and how you've linked the unique 1950's aesthetic. The game needless to say, was fun and fresh. I hope to see more gems like this from you!

Thank you for your feedback! I’m really glad you enjoyed it ^^

I really did! I hope my email about game jams in Slovakia finds you :) Would love to join the next one.

I really enjoyed the whole game, the visual story-telling is incredibly well done.. I was wondering where the inspiration came from.. Is it possible to read more about this project? Maybe from an extensive post you wrote or from your thesis?

Hey there. So glad to hear that! I've added a file with a short insight into some more of the thoughts behind Anna. It will be in the downloads if you wish, and in a devlog. :)

Thanks! I'll check it out..

Lovely pixelart and a very nice project. Looking forward to more Eastern European adventures. :)
